i wish i had more time for my art. well, my fine art, anyway. because to be entirely honest, the reason i have not been around is because of theatre. it's become my new driving force in life. the reason i get up in the morning. my one reason for living. my painting and drawing, unfortunately, has become somewhat of a hobby. it's still my outlet for a lot of things, but i realized a little while ago that to devote the same time to painting and acting would drive me into the ground. acting is going to become my career. painting will just have to be my hobby. it's really depressing, considering how fine art is such a big love in my life. i t

this was the worst semester ever. i don't even wanna get into it. 'midsummer' was amazingly fun. the graphic i made for my typography class is up in my gallery. check it outtt. the whole shitload of pictures i just submitted tonight were from a production of 'the king and i'. i'm turning into quite the scenic artist. i still need to get my money for that... i should be studying for a final (or writing a paper... or finishing a restaurant identity... or designing the editorial... or writing a resume cover letter... or getting off-book for a scene...) but i'm on dA instead. i :heart: procrastination.

so i recently got titania in "a midsummer night's dream" at my university. which is pretty damn amazing. for those who don't know, she's a fairy queen that falls in love with a donkey. and in lieu of that, i've been finding a whole bunch of really great fairy pieces on here to be my inspiration. some are pretty spectacular. i don't know the point of this entry. but i'll probably end up doing a piece in the middle of my 7deadlysins series. just because i'd like to make an image of titania based on (some) of my features. that'd be pretty neat, i think. anyhoo. i'm gonna sleep. i'm fucking exhausted. oh, and i HATE typography. it is the most
